"[Mark and Mary] reflect the spitting image of their vows, 'in sickness and in health,' said their photographer, Katy Murray. After marrying in July 2012 at their local courthouse, they planned on a bigger reception to celebrate with family and friends the following year. However, the couple chose to focus on Mary's health instead. After years fighting with Crohn's disease, Mary was diagnosed with colon cancer, and was left unable to conceive. After struggling with IVF, they set their sights on adoption. "They have faced their fair share of struggles, but sadly, the past year was the hardest for them as a couple after more health struggles and a failed adoption."
Mark and Mary have faced more than many do in their lifetimes, and have come out stronger, together. They now have a sweet baby boy named Sebastian, too! If there was ever a couple that deserved to dress up for some beautiful wedding photos, it is certainly them! This styled shoot is bold and elegant, with romantic white floral arrangements, bright pops of cobalt and navy blue and subtle gold details.
